there he goes ...

there he is again.

still working long, long hours.

of late there has been a lot of activities, a number of meetings and a whole bunch of people in the office, but at the end of the day it’s always him alone in front of the pc, in the near dark, working hard.

occasionally he’d have people report to him.

he must be the big boss, surely. and a fairly young one at that, too.

i should just nip over and see what kind of company it is. the curiosity is killing me
(but where’s the fun in knowing?)

he’s most probably married, anyway.

most of them are, these days.

he’s never really acknowledged me
(his desk faces away from me at the far end of the room, and the only time he can see me is if he comes over to the near window to get better reception on his handphone. i on the other hand can see him each time i come back into my room or look out the window).

but it’s certainly heart-warming to know that there are married men who don’t flirt even when there is no possibility of being found out.

then again, maybe i am just not his type.

damn.

if he's married and tries to flirt with you or get oyur number etc AND his wife doesnt know about it, then he is as good as trash - no matter how charming!

But then, if he spends 2/3 of his life at the office, maybe he's single, because he hasn't had the time to date? Maybe you should create an "incident" that will bring the two of you to have teh tarik together?

The way you describe him makes him sound sexy...

miss j - no such luck with this one. maybe he's gay. double damn.

fazu - he never leaves the office, how la to create an incident?! he is so the very sexy. last night he was poring over some large sheets of paper in total concentration at midnight.

i on the other hand was surfing the web post yoga and din making bookings for a sunday movie.

even the office is sexy ok -dark wood flooring, floor to ceiling windows sans blinds, large green plants and a big ass tv.

did i mention he's bald/shaved his head?

oo-er.

therose - that was the original idea... but he never comes over to this side unless to talk on his phone, so takkan la aku nak lambai macam org gila kan..?

mal - sorry dude, it's a private joke!

lita, so whats your short tem - long term plan for this guy? u gonna commence the blitz or r u gonna send in a recon or gonna go covert? If u gona go covert, I'd suggest u send him a "wrong" email. If he replies, say sorry etc. If he doesnt reply, send another email saying sorry. Unless he's a martian spy sent to earth to infiltrate its defences, that oughta break the ice...

mal - fwaiyo, convolutednya plot you! has it worked before?? some progress - hari ni terserempak after lunch, eye contact even! will keep ya posted..

mal said...

It works, believe me. Sometimes too successfully...

you should ambush him as he walks into the lift and say hi "nice short etc". if after a week doing these kind of stuff to break the ice, and he just remains totally oblivious, then he is just like me. then u'd need to do an extremely direct approach. Emo blanks like me only understand direct force.

Awwww feek. i made another typo! I meant "Shirt" NOT "Short". If he was wearing shorts and you said nice shorts he'd probably think u were being sarcastic. So dont say "nice Short". Mal's Lost Marbles disclaims all liability for any persons voluntarily following his advice.

mal - he works in the building opposite, and has erratic work hours. the chances of me being in the same lift as him is -50000.

he doesnt wear shorts. but he does bring a rucksack to work and wears them stylo shades.

didnt come in at all today.

sigh...

stylo shades eh. hrm... then thats definitely not me. : ) i am partial to rucksacks though. love em... got a bunch of em though i never go camping etc.
